Visions of Grandeur

Daniel 10: 1-9, "In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel whose name was called Belteshazzar. The message was true but the appointed time was long; and he understood the message, and had understanding of the vision. In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
Now on the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, that is, the Tigris,I lifted my eyes and looked and behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz. His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude.
And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great terror fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
Therefore I was left alone when I saw this great vision, and no strength remained in me, for my vigor was turned to frailty in me, and I retained no strength.
Yet I heard the sound of his words; and while I heard the sound of his words I was in a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground."
 
The Lord speaks: "I have declared and it is so, that I would pour out My Spirit upon all flesh in the last days! Many will see visions and dreams and many seers will rise in the last days!  (Joel 2: 28, Acts 2: 17)

Those that know Me, know that I am a God of order; I do not give vision without providing the provision to accomplish that which has been promised!  (1 Cor. 14: 40, 2 Cor. 1: 20)
Where are the visionaries that wait upon Me?  Where are the prophets who prophesy My words?  (Daniel 10: 1, Ezekiel 13: 7)

People run to and fro looking for a vision, seeking a prophet who will prophesy "on demand."
This is not of Me; My prophets know the power of their words and thus, do not prophesy to prophesy!  Many holes have been dug by false prophecies, many lives have been dismembered by untruths that have been prophesied before Me!  (Ezekiel 7: 26, Ezekiel 22: 28)
Does no one fear My Name?  Does no one understand that I cannot visit a people who determine their own ways?  My words are stirring, powerful, vital and active!   When I speak, the hearer trembles!  (Jeremiah 5: 22a, Jeremiah 10: 7)

Who will hear, who will wait, who will know that I, Alone, am He and there is no other!  (Isaiah 1: 2, Isaiah 40: 25, Isaiah 43: 10-11)

Those that wait upon Me shall renew their strength and mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint," says the Lord."  (Isaiah 40: 31)
 
Dearest Lord:  You are the Great Almighty and there is nothing too difficult for You!  Blessed Lord, repair the breach, break off the yokes that have bound us, remove the blinders from our eyes!  You are a grand and mighty God and You ways are higher than our ways! Deliver Your people, from empty visions, false dreams, prophetic acrobatics, that demean Your grandeur and discount Your glory!  Father, may we fear You and reverence Your awesome and Holy Name, in Jesus Name,
