"Beware of the Golden Calf"
April 15, 2006

Dear Ones: As I arose this day, these are the words that the Holy Spirit placed in my heart: BEWARE OF THE GOLDEN CALF!

What the Lord is saying is that many of you have been faithful, prayerful, diligent to press toward the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus and that the enemy wants to mold a "calf" on your behalf and try to lure you away from God's intended plan!

The Israelites fell prey to such a lark when Aaron, Moses' brother, was convinced to fashion a god for the people of God to worship, as Moses seemed to be taking a long time to come down from the mountain!

Because of their impatience and insistence, Aaron crafted a "golden calf," a false god, an unworthy ornament of worship, that they began to worship!

When Moses came down from the mountain of God with the ten commandments in hand, fury rose in him when saw the idolatry of his people and as a shepherd, this greatly distressed him, causing him to drop the stones etched with the commandments of God!

(He later returned to the presence of God and the Lord, in His mercy, gave him the stone-etched commandments, for the good of the people!) (Exodus 32) Satan would want to derail you to another course; he has fashioned decoys along your path!

Be alerted! God is saying, "Stay on course, be steadfast, patient, immovable and I will do all that I have declared and great blessing shall come upon you!

The enemy intends to wear you out and blot out My promises from your lives and hearts, yet, I have prepared the stones of the decologue (10 commandments) and these promises cannot be destroyed!

I have etched my words upon your hearts and no man or demon can dissuade me from performing the good works that I have prepared for you during this hour, says the Lord!"

Father, I send out this email to your people, but with much fear and trembling, as the enemy has devised plans of contention, distraction and confusion for those who love and serve You! Lord, I stand in the gap and ask You to give each brother/sister

Your wisdom as to what they should do and not do, knowing that You are faithful to perform all that You have promised concerning us, individually and collectively, in this day and hour!

Lord, ward off the works of the enemy and set up an ambush against him!

May all his (the enemy) efforts fail and all Your efforts succeed in Your Holy Name, Jesus, Amen!
