"NEW CLOTHES "

I received a word from the Lord this evening, while I was worshipping at the altar of The Church on the Way. I believe that is is significant to what has transpired in the last many months, especially among leaders, but it is also revelant to the Body as a whole.

The verses the Lord gave me were Zechariah 3: 3-4, "Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. The angel said to those who were standing before him, 'Take off his filthy clothes.' The he said to Joshua, "See, I have taken away your sin and I will put rich garments ("robes" in some translations) on you."

The picture I saw was the Church walking through a thin veil/curtain, as they entered into true worship, muchlike walking into a shower stall, entering through a curtain, and as we walked through the veil, the "filthy" garments fell from our shoulders and the "rich" robes/garments were placed upon us! The simple, yet, powerful word that the Lord gave me was, "I am redressing My Church!"

(this part is clearly for leadership...though, I didn't share this publicly tonight!)

If you read verse 5, a clean turban is placed upon Joshua's head. I believe that this represents a sanctification of the leadership of the Body of Christ. The headship shall be "clean, pure" and "covered" by the Lord Himself!

And then the mandate in verse 6 tops it off, that our obedience to step into His presence, depend on Him, trust in Him, look to Him for all of our needs, will bring forth showers of blessings!
