"A Word From The LORD"
July 19, 2004

Dear Brother Jerry:

As I read 2 Chron. 7: 1-22, this is what the Lord said,

"Honor for God and My people has been lost in your nation. Where is the honor, one for another? (Ex. 20: 3, 5, 12, Proverbs 3: 9, Romans 12: 10, Ephesians 5: 33, 1 Peter 2: 17, 1 Peter 3: 7) Where is the commitment to the vows that are spoken? (Deuteronomy 23:
21).

My people are quick to enter into covenant with one another, and more quick to dissolve the covenant, when something else catches their attention! (Joshua 24: 25-27)

Each man/woman has a place in My service. Each one has gifts commensurate with their call. Yet, many run after the gifts and anointings of others, rather than walking in their designated places! When My people seek Me for their placement and position and hear My response and follow My commands, then streams of healing will flow through My sanctuaries!

I did not give details to Solomon in order to weary him; I gave details to him to teach him to hear My voice and then follow My directives. When My people attend services, they come to hear and then they go and neglect the teachings that have just been taught! Many have become as pouches with holes, that which is put in, soon falls through the holes!

Yes, there are times and seasons when I have shut the heavens! Yes, there are times and seasons when I have sent a plague! Yes, there are times and seasons when I have sent locusts! Yet, who has noticed? Who has known that it was I, the Lord, asking My children to humble themselves before Me and turn from deceit, manipulations and selfish ambitions?

Am I a God who delights in disaster? Am I a God who delights in destruction? Never! When the white hand joins the black hand and the brown hand holds the yellow hand and the yellow hand grips the red hand and the red hand touches My hand, when My people stop oppressing one another and truly 'let My people go' to their appointed places of service and their appointed destinies, then will I receive their humble hearts, cast their sins into the sea of forgetfulness and springs of fresh water will sprout forth to heal their land!"
