"Parable of Construction"

There was a man who built a house. He used the best materials, craftsmanship, builders, decorators and land-scapers. The finished product was beautiful, a sight tobehold!

He was so proud of his house. It shined with the handiwork of man's best.

But, shortly after the completion of his house, mold andmildew began to erupt throughout the house. The walls become leprous. Nothing could live in the house and allthe vegetation outside perished. What had happened?

This man did not inquire of Me. He bought the land,without asking Me. The land was swampland, full ofcontamination and mold!

This man was governed by his own spirit. He did whathe liked when he wanted to do it! He didn't consult Me orconfer with others, wise in My counsel.

His house was built with the best materials known to manout even man's best cannot withstand the corrosion of prayerlessness!

A house that is built on anything other than prayer willnot stand!
