Twenty years ago, while sitting in a restaurant with my pastor’s wife and mother-in-law, I experienced these verses in a personal way! A man of God whom I had never met, though I knew the female friend that he was with, approached me and said, “May I give you a prophetic word?” I said, “Yes,” and he proceeded to give me Isaiah 43:18-19 and a short exhortation that encouraged me greatly!

          These words are vital today, as we are seeing new things happening all around us; new problems, new challenges, new failures and great new opportunities for the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord is making new life spring up where there has been dryness, hopelessness and confusion. He is releasing praise and worship in the midst of depression and despair. The Lord of Glory is on the throne releasing His love and redeeming grace to all who will receive Him!

          Here are some of the NEW things happening at Leaves of Healing Tabernacle.

          By God’s grace we have a “New” Introductory Video. In January of this New Year, God afforded us the opportunity to record a short video depicting the glorious praise, worship and ministry that the Lord is releasing; and the testimonies of those who have been touched by Jesus’ love. The edited and mixed version of the video is now on our site. Praise God! (DVDs are available also).

          By God’s grace we have “New” Praise and Worship. The praise and worship team has really grown in the Lord over the last year and the resulting worship has been awesome; as directed by the Lord, there are times when we just praise, worship and pray through a whole service in the midst of His glorious love.By God’s grace we have a “New” Sanctuary. After several months of remodeling, our new sanctuary was completed in January (Just in time for the new video). We have new paint, new chairs, new carpet, new lights and new sound video systems. The Lord has done a good thing in giving us the resources and personnel to create our new meeting place with Him!

          By God’s grace we have many “New” People. Our attendance is growing each month and many people are coming to salvation in Jesus Christ. Praise God!

          By God’s grace we have “New” Ministries. We now have ministries established for Nursery, Children, College Age and Young Adults. We now have several home groups meeting for Bible study and fellowship.

          By God’s grace we have “New” Hope. The glorious power of God’s presence has given us new hope for many people coming to salvation in Jesus Christ. His call to make disciples has given us the hope to implement new seminars, classes and ministry groups for the equipping of the saints. With His saving, healing and delivering power, we believe we sill see many people reached with the good news of eternal, abundant and glorious life in Jesus Christ.

          May the Lord richly bless you as we go from glory to glory!
