"Mountain Climbing"

Isaiah 2: 2,3, "Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills: and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.’ For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem."

California is a state that inspires awe with the diversity of it’s terrain! From the sun-speckled beaches to the tops of grand and glorious mountains, climatic changes from cool, to warm to hot avail throughout the state; sometimes, within an hour’s drive, the temperature has gone from 90’s to 50’s to snow! Such diversity gives much variety in choices and endeavors.

Statuesque amongst the valleys of California are mountains high and covered with a myriad of textures and colorations. What splendor the Lord has bestowed upon us in this great golden state!

But, now after many centuries of quietness, the voices of prayer can be heard from the northern to the southern regions. Voices, varied in pitch and loudness, are sending forth incense to the heavenlies, beseeching our Heavenly Father to send rain upon our state. No, not the rain that dampens the earth, but the heavenly rain, the latter rain that will revive our land and soften hearts to surrender to Him!

The prophecies spoken over this state by the Spirit of the Lord shall come to pass but those spoken in jest, jealousy or proclaiming great jeopardy will no longer hold weight, as the state that man ridiculed and said would fall off the continent and drown in the sea, will now shine like a jewel, reflecting the light of the King’s glory.

Pastors, evangelists, prophets, teachers, apostles and intercessors are joining hands and hearts to unify with one voice and cry out to a God who is ever ready to hear and move on our behalf.

We have seen the birthing of prayer ministries and the lifting up of prayer leaders all over our state; the rocky terrain of jealousy, strife, covetousness and the like is being pulverized by prayers of repentance, declarations of renewals and proclamations of revival. Everyone is welcome and each has a gift to offer at the altar of the Lord.

Can you remember, as a child, sitting in front of a campfire, each person holding a stick, and one by one, each person throws their stick into the fire, causing the fire to burn brighter, being fueled by the branches that have been surrendered to the blazing flames. Won’t you join us? The blazing trail of prayer is alighting our families, ministries, cities, towns, state, borders, causing even the bordering states and beyond to be set ablaze!

Yes, the Jews know the power of prayer and they go up to His Holy mountain on the feast days to learn of His ways. Put on your climbing gear and come! Let us go up the mountain together, the God of Jacob awaits us!
